About this tour

Day 1-Tuesday: Marrakech/arrival

Arrival at Marrakech airport. Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 2-Wednesday: Marrakech

Full day dedicated to visiting the second oldest imperial city, nicknamed “the ochre city”. In the morning: Menara gardens, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia minaret, Dar Si Said Museum. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon the visit continues with the lively souks, and the famous Djemaa El Fna square. Optional dinner with a traditional show. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3- Thursday: Marrakech-> Ait Benhaddou ->Boumalne (km 360)

Departure to Ait Benhaddou via the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m altitude). Visit of its famous Kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site, which has been the backdrop for many great films such as Laurence of Arabia, Troy, Gladiator, Game of thrones… Optional lunch. Continuation to Boumalne via Ouarzazate and Kalaa Mgouna. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4- Friday: Boumalne -> Tinghir -> Erfoud (km 180)

Departure to Erfoud via the magnificent Todra canyons, where the rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters. Optional lunch in a local restaurant near the canyons. Afternoon, continuation to Erfoud. Arrival in Erfoud and departure by off-road vehicle to the dunes of Merzouga for an excursion. Return to the hotel in Erfoud for dinner and overnight.

Optional with supplement: 

1) Excursion Camel ride in the dunes of Merzouga and return to the hotel in Erfoud. 28 USD

2) Camel ride in the dunes of Merzouga, dinner and overnight in tent at the basic camp 4* of Merzouga.

Day 5-Saturday: Erfoud -> Tinghir -> Ouarzazate (km 350)

Departure to Ouarzazate via the Tinjdad oasis and along the Dades valley with optional lunch in Tinghir. Continuation to Ouarzazate via the road of 1000 Kasbahs that crosses Kalaat M’Gouna and the Skoura valley. Short visit of the city of Ouarzazate upon arrival. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6-Sunday: Ouarzazate -> Marrakech (km 220)

Departure to Marrakech via the Tizi N’tichka pass. Optional lunch in a restaurant. Continue to Marrakech. Overnight stay in a hotel. Dinner and overnight

Day 7-Monday: Marrakech/departure

Transfer to Marrakech Menara airport and departure.
